Are you interested in volunteering at the race? We’d love to have you! The sport of triathlon is very multi-facetted, and so are the opportunities to volunteer for this race. We have volunteer slots for everything from pre-race to post-race needing to be filled by fun, energetic, and reliable individuals. You can even make the experience more exciting by getting your friends, youth group, or family to join in! The Tri Columbus GA Chattahoochee Challenge is NOT a one-day event…in fact, it all starts the Thursday before the event and culminates on race day at the finish line. With such a big production, there is something for EVERYONE! When you send in the volunteer form below, you will have a choice of shifts ranging from Thursday to Saturday, early morning to evening. All Saturday shifts have an early arrival time, but you will most likely be done by noon. By the way, it is a GREAT way to meet people!

Feel free contact our office at (808) 478-7576 or by email tricolumbusga@gmail.com to inquire about volunteering.

Here are some examples of the areas where you can volunteer:

  • Registration at Ride On Bikes (Friday evening)
  • Outdoor Setup (Friday, some manual labor)
  • Swim (Friday/Saturday Morning)
  • Transition areas (Saturday morning)
  • Finish Line (Saturday)
  • Timing (Saturday)
  • Registration (Saturday)
  • Post-race Food (Saturday)
  • Course Monitor (Saturday)
  • Clean Up (Saturday afternoon)
  • Fluid Station (Saturday)

What you get:

In exchange for volunteering, we will be providing each volunteer with an Chattahoochee ChallengeT-shirt and goodie bag. And best of all, you will feel great for helping out all those determined athletes.
